Another wedding at Botleys Mansion, the superb Bijou venue in Surrey. Following on from Kathryn and Rob’s wedding there in the summer, there was definitely a more autumnal feel for this wedding, although luckily the rain that fell in the morning subsided for the main part of the day.
Everything was all under one roof for this wedding so I started at the venue for the bridal preparations, where I was reunited with one of the bridesmaids who I used to work with for a few years in a former life. Everything went swimmingly during the preps, although there was a very nervous bride during it all.
William too was looking a bit nervous as the ceremony drew near, but all nerves soon disappeared and before we knew it everything was confirmed and the newlyweds were able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. I’d not been feeling 100% in the build up to this wedding so I have to give my thanks to my good friend and talented photographer Chris Legg, who provided me with some backup and some lovely shots from the back during the ceremony and for a couple of hours afterwards.
The drinks were flowing outside and the weather held out which allowed everyone to enjoy the lovely landscape that Botleys has to offer. Then it was time to head inside as daylight started to disappear and down to the Atrium for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The cake cutting followed and the evening entertainment was provided by a band who kicked things off as Jessica and William had their first dance.
That marked the end of a superb day and I headed for home as the party was getting into full swing. Here’s some images from the day, and don’t forget you can keep up to date by liking my Facebook Page.
