A lovely sunny spring day set the scene for Some Runneymede Hotel wedding photography for Louise and Adam on the banks of the River Thames in Surrey, where music was very much the theme for the day. Despite having been at this venue as a guest a few years back for a friend’s wedding, this was the first time I had the pleasure of working here, and what a fine venue it is with a beautiful backdrop for the guests to enjoy.
My day started just before the wedding ceremony with Adam and the guests as they started to arrive. Louise and her bridesmaids had arrived in plenty of time and as a result had to wait outside until Adam and the guests were all safely out of sight in the ceremony room, and then it was time to get down to business. The ceremony was concluded without too many nerves and once the business end of things had been concluded, the guests were able to enjoy their drinks outside with plenty of sunshine throughout the afternoon.
The food was being cooked outside on the grills and even judging by the smell, it was clear that the wedding party were in for a treat when it came to the wedding breakfast. Admittedly, I sampled some of the chicken myself and can confirm that it was pretty good… Once the food had been digested it was then on to the speeches, and following a few more drinks outside it wad then time to take things back indoors for the cutting of the cake and the first dance, which were followed by the start of the evening entertainment.
That was then the conclusion of an excellent day as for me, and the downing of tools. Here’s some of the images from throughout the day, please feel free to like or share amongst social media.
