I’ve never had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at Frimley Hall before so was looking forward to this one, the wedding of Stacey and Paul. Lovely sunshine greeted me in Camberley as I arrived at the venue where Paul was already feeling the nerves a bit before he’d even got ready. No bridal preparations were required so my day started with a few shots of the guests before getting straight into the thick of it with the wedding reception. I swear these wedding ceremonies get quicker each time and it seemed to fly by as we were soon back out for drinks and more sunshine.
A receiving line was set up for the guests as they made their way into the Frimley Suite for dinner and once the meal and speeches were done, the guests once again headed outside where a large contingent braved the humidity for a game of football. All I can say is judging by the skills that were on show it’s no surprise England failed miserably yet again at the World Cup…
Before long the evening entertainment was under way, although not before the kids had polished the dance floor with their breakdancing moves. The real action was started with the cutting of the cake and then straight into the first dance, after which my day was done.
Frimley Hall was a great venue with staff that ran the day brilliantly from start to finish, it’s definitely a place I’d love to work at again.
This wedding marked the start of a manic summer of weddings for me, so this blog will be pretty busy throughout the next few months so please keep checking back. As always you can keep up to date with my work by following me over on my Facebook page as well. Images are below, feel free to share/like/comment/pin etc.
