Bury Court Barn weddings are always special and this one was no exception last month for Hayley and Stephen’s big day.
The day started with some heavy clouds and a few spots of rain as an excited looking Hayley arrived at the barn along with her bridesmaids and parents to put the finishing touches to their preparations in the Oast cottage before the wedding ceremony. Then once the dress went on and a few last minute tears were shed it was back down to the barn itself where Stephen was nervously preparing himself for the arrival of his bride.
Despite the earlier rainclouds, it remained relatively dry throughout the day and the guests were able to enjoy their drinks in the well landscaped gardens once the new Mr and Mrs Bosdet had done the formalities and emerged as husband and wife. For those who wanted to remain inside, they were treated to some truly excellent card tricks by the superb magician Matt Wainwright before the start of the wedding breakfast. Following the meal, not one but two best men helped entertained everyone during the speeches, before the usual cutting of the cake and the first dance which signalled the start of the evening partying and the opening of the sweet table, which always manages to gain a LOT of attention at weddings…
Overall, an excellent day and I thoroughly enjoyed being at Bury Court barn again, it’s been quite a while since I was last there for Louise and Brian’s wedding back in 2012 and I’m looking forward to going back in July and then again in August!
