A throwback to some sunnier and warmer times earlier this year, and a wedding at Rivervale Barn, a fantastic venue down in Hampshire. This was my third visit here and once again it lived up to expectations with a superb day with Kerry and David.
Bridal preparations were the first port of call and these took place in the cottage that looks out onto both the courtyard from one side and the superb gardens on the other, whilst the guests started to arrive and congregate in the barn along with the groom. The wedding ceremony is held in a lovely spacious room with plenty of light and really helps make for a fantastic ‘all in one’ wedding venue.
Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a few drinks in the courtyard for a couple of hours before retreating to the main part of the barn for the wedding breakfast, which was followed by the speeches. The evening guests started to arrive nicely in time for the cake cutting and first dance, before the evening then got into full swing with some barn dancing that everyone got involved in, some proving to be more more naturally coordinated than others…
And so ended yet another great wedding, images from which are below. Hats off yet again to the staff who as always here were excellent and really helped the day flow perfectly (The food here as well is amongst the best I’ve tasted at any wedding venue).
You can see the other weddings I’ve covered at the Rivervale Barn here, or if you would like to check my availability for your upcoming wedding at the barn then please feel free to contact me using the form here or via my Facebook page.
