A couple of weeks ago I headed over to Buckinghamshire as the Taplow House wedding photographer for the super laid back Pauline and Bill.
First stop was the hotel where Bill was having a pre-wedding latte with his groomsmen, before I made the short trip to the venue where Pauline was having something a little bit stronger with her bridal party. Then it was over to Maidenhead in nearby Berkshire and St Joseph’s Church for the business end of things, where thankfully we were well protected from the sudden monsoon conditions that came out of nowhere. Thankfully that was the only rain we saw all day and it cleared in time for the newlyweds to follow the double decker carrying the wedding party back with the top down on the vintage car they were travelling in.
Back at the venue the guests were treated to some quality music by Ashmore Acoustics, who had been playing back at the church as Pauline came up the aisle. They played all throughout the day in fact and were pretty good to say the least. Meanwhile, Bill was pacing around during the meal practicing his speech, which is something he needn’t have worried about because he delivered it superbly. Then before we knew it, the first dance was upon us and once again the boys played us through and had everyone pounding the dance floor as I was leaving.
A really enjoyable day all in all, and a great couple to work for. Images are below, as always.
