If ever there was a hint that summer was a thing of the past and autumn had well and truly kicked in, it was evident when I was the Royal Berkshire Hotel wedding photographer for Kelly and Daniel in late October. Overcast and raining, the weather certainly didn’t dampen the spirits for this particular wedding.
I already knew Daniel from his previous life as a personal trainer when he used to put me through the wringer once or twice a week down the gym for an hour each time. I thought I was glad to see the back of him when he upped sticks and moved out of the area leaving me free from any further punishment, but I was happy to hear from him a year or so later when he told me he’d popped the question and asked if I was still available for their wedding date. Thankfully I was, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The ceremony provided a few tears but plenty of light hearted moments and laughter. Once the formalities were complete the guests retreated to the bar away from the rain to enjoy some drinks before the meal. The speeches again provided lots of laughter and originality and the fun continued well into the evening once the music started. Smiles and laughter all throughout the day, this was how a wedding should be. A great day with a great couple. And as if planning and executing a wedding wasn’t enough for them, they’re expecting a baby in a couple of months! Exciting times ahead.
So here’s a rundown of the day in images. Please feel free to like/share etc. If you want to keep up to date with my work then please come and follow me on my Facebook page as well.
